Abstract

Full-scale IQ is composed of verbal IQ (VIQ), which is subdivided into verbal comprehension index and working memory index, and performance IQ (PIQ), which is subdivided into perceptual organization index and processing speed index. To find out the brain area in which the activation was correlated with VIQ and PIQ score, multiple linear regression analysis was performed to the brain activation (task-rest) using VIQ or PIQ score, age, gender, the reaction time and the accuracy as covariates.
