Abstract

Intravenous 5-FU administration has been reported to cause pigmentation of nails, tongue, palms, and soles as well as supravenous pigmention at the site of infusions. Less common cutaneous side effects of systemic 5-FU are maculopapular eruptions of palms, serpentine hyperpigmentations of the back, palmar keratoderma, and folliculitis of the forehead.
