Abstract

In Final Exit , Humphrey openly and nonjudgmentally presents the option of "self-deliverance" or assisted suicide for terminally ill persons on the basis of anecdotal information accumulated through 10 years of experience with the Hemlock Society, including his personal assistance with two suicides in his own family.
