A 58-year-old man developed myotoxicity following treatment with atorvastatin/ezetimibe for coronary heart disease, and colchicine overdose. Additionally, synergistic interaction between atorvastatin/ezetimib and colchicine contributed to the occurrence of myotoxicity. [not all dosages are stated; routes not stated].
The man, who had a history of coronary heart disease, alcoholic liver cirrhosis and idiopathic pericarditis, was admitted for impaired general condition.
