Abstract
In the work the problem of the analysis of geotechnical vulnerability is approached in the industrial works, with a new focus on models and terminologies in the analysis of deformation. A methodology for the determination of geotechnical vulnerability indexes is presented, based on the comparison of settlement values determined by geodetic methods with the tolerances fixed by current standards. It is carried out the validation of the methodology in four cases of study of the region nicquelifera of Holguín: machineries industrial "Rotational tubular dryer", deposits of toxic substances “Base of ammonia", deposits of substances inflammable “Fuel tank” and mineral deposits. It demonstrates the feasibility of the results and the importance of comprehensive vulnerability studies, based on the interaction of conclusive criteria from various disciplines such as Geodesy, Geophysics, Geotechnics and Civil Engineering.
