A 67-year-old woman developed angioedema during treatment with amlodipine for chronic hypertension.
The woman, who had chronic hypertension demonstrated suboptimal blood pressure control with hydralazine and metoprolol. Therefore, she was started on treatment with oral amlodipine 5mg daily.
