Why did you decide to specialize in microscopic/nanotribology rather than go into more traditional tribology fields like automotive and aerospace?
There are several reasons I decided to specialize in microscopic/nanotribology. Most important, it is a very exciting and emerging field that can significantly impact society. Having said that, let me say that circumstances also played a role in my specialization in this area.
