Abstract

This research strives to discover, understand, and describe the definition of vision importance in the current organizational environment to increase its knowledge, practice, and understanding as well as to expand the literature, accuracy, and concentration in the topic of Organizational Vision. The sampling methods considered for this study includes interviews, syndicated research, books, and academic artifacts found in the published academic world as well as in published public practitioners. This study pertinence rests on the need to have an academic clearer concept of Organizational Vision to support practitioners and to offer organizations a solid foundation to encourage its inclusion and development. The study attempts to collaborate in the development of a reflection of the current knowledge and application status of Organizational Vision to qualify and quantify its benefits. Organizations in general do not doubt about the need of a vision to support their development and change challenges, but it remains constantly as a secondary matter without conversion into a vital matter. Organizational Vision's definition lacks of agreement among academy, practitioners, and researchers whom neither add nor encourage its acceptance and exercise.
