The steamroller that is Taylor Swift made its way to town Saturday night at a sold-out Scottrade Center, where a teen-age girl seated next to me prepped me with the words that this would be the concert event of the year.
And here it is only April.
Young pop-country sensation Swift, on her first headlining tour with her long blond locks, sequined guitar and the year's best-selling CD so far, "Fearless," in tow, gave the crowd filled mostly with children and their parents all that was expected of her and then some.
No one could ask for anything more from Swift, who is no Christina Aguilera vocally, but she's no Miley Cyrus either (quite thankfully).
