Even though their division went through a large overhaul in the offseason, the Princeton-56ers still feel like the marked opponent this year.
That's because in the Midwest Conference of the amateur National Premier Soccer League, the P56ers are defending the 2006 champions. The team that was their closest competition last season is gone, but that doesn't mean it's smooth sailing.
"I think people are looking at us," P56ers coach Jim Launder said. "We lost some good players, but we got some new, good players in. I think we should be looked at as a team to be reckoned with, at least.
