The Delta and Titan rockets that took America's first astronauts to space have been polished and a new 55,000-square-foot addition to the New York Hall of Science has made the institution a must-visit destination for parents, children and school teachers who see wonder in a grain of sand or marvel in the multitude of stars on a clear night. The nearly $90 million multi-year expansion gives children of all ages more space to run, play and learn about the world around them in 21st-century interactive exhibitions which strive to make science seem less mysterious and more accessible.
