CONNOISSEURS of the finer side of drum 'n' bass will be lining up to catch international stars DJ Patife and MC Cleveland in Hobart next week.
Born and raised in Brazil's clubbing capital, Sao Paulo, DJ Patife began getting into music in the early '90s.
Patife's career really took off in 1995 when the spread of jungle drum 'n' bass reached Brazil. Techno was the music of choice in the city but Patife was determined to make jungle a success and relentlessly pushed it until a scene began to develop.
