Several people who worked as electoral witnesses in the presidential elections held in Venezuela last Sunday, as well as citizens who have protested against the result of the elections, have been detained by the Police which, according to NGOs and anti-Chavez politicians, are carrying out search operations for these individuals in several regions of the country.
