Toplumsal Belgesel Fotoğraf ve Afsad Örneği

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı toplumsal belgesel fotoğraf yaklaşımının, işlevinin tartışılmasıve Türkiye’de bu fotoğraf tarzı konusunda çalışan AFSAD’ın Toplumcu GerçekçiBelgesel Fotoğraf atölyesini derinlemesine görüşmeler yaparak incelemektir.Dünyadaki siyasal ve toplumsal olaylar fotoğrafın işlevi konusunda yeni sorularsorulmasına neden olmuştur. Benzer şekilde Türkiye’de de fotoğrafın yaşanantoplumsal olaylar ile ilişkilenmesi söz konusu olmuş ve bu akım etkisini göstermiştir.Bu çalışmada toplam 18 kişi ile derinlemesine görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Bunun yanısıra Toplumcu Gerçekçi Belgesel Fotoğraf Atölyesinin projeleri sonucunda ortayaçıkan yazılı ve görsel materyaller incelenmiştir. Alan araştırması sonucunda eldeedilen bu veriler analiz edilmiştir. Bu analizler sonucunda Türkiye’de toplumsalbelgesel fotoğraf yaklaşımının gelişmesinde AFSAD’ın çalışmalarının önemli roloynadığı görülmüştür.

The purpose of this study is to discuss the photo function of social documentaryphotography approach and to research the Social Documentary Photographyworkshop of AFSAD, working on this style of photography in Turkey by using indepthinterview techniques. New questions asked about the function of thephotograph the result of political and social events in the world. Similarly, also saidin Turkey the photo have been associated with social events and showed the effectsof these trends. This study was conducted in-depth interviews with 12 people in total.As well as written and visual materials resulting from the social documentaryphotography workshop were examined. Datas were obtained in the field research areanalysed. As a result of these analyses, as a foundation AFSAD approach for thedevelopment of Social Documentary Photography, it has been shown to play animportant role in the study.
