TEARFUL SINGER’S HIT BALLAD ROUNDS OUT SEASON FINALE
The title might suggest it as an unlikely song to soundtrack an episode of beloved animated TV kids’ show Bluey.
Award-winning Aussie artist Meg Washington’s soaring pop ballad Lazarus Drug featured in the 28-minute season 3 finale The Sign.
The swelling electronic section of the song, about “love and euphoria and revival”, closed the much-anticipated Bluey special that ran four times longer than a regular episode and screened yesterday on the ABC.
