The National Broadcasting Company has been offered the biggest Industrial Development Agency bond issue in the city's history to keep the network from moving to New Jersey, city officials said yesterday.
The officials refused to specify the size of the bond issue that would be floated, but they said it would exceed the IDA security offering of about $130 million for the Morgan Stanley project and a similar amount for the Brooklyn Renaissance Plaza project, both now being constructed in downtown Brooklyn.
