Nancy Capasso, who last month won a $5.53 million divorce settlement against her former husband, Carl, is being sued for $15 million in a case stemming from a city sewer construction contracts, according to court papers filed yesterday.
Two bonding companies, Aetna Insurance Company and Aetna Fire Underwriters Insurance Company, claim that Nancy Capasso, 47, is liable because she allegedly signed, with her ex-husband, an indemnity or performance bond for his company, Nanco Contracting Corp., in 1981.
