Mais Laços e Menos Nós: Intervenção Artística em Contexto de Casa Abrigo

Abstract

As linguagens artísticas na vida de um indivíduo podem ter tem um grande impacto, contribuindo para um reforço das competências quer a nível pessoal, social, afetivo, emocional quer relacional.

Em contexto institucional, tanto as mulheres como as crianças vão revelando indícios decorrentes do passado austero e de uma família destruturada e de violência doméstica que, por sua vez, os presenteou com um presente pautado pelo afastamento no seu seio familiar e da sua área de residência e pela imposição à adaptação a uma nova casa, com uma extensão incomensurável, dificultando por vezes as relações parentais.

O Projeto “Por um mundo mais artístico, com mais laços e menos nós” foi criado e implementado numa perspetiva de intervenção artística associada à investigação, no sentido de aferir “Quais os contributos das linguagens artísticas na relação de mãe e filho(s) no contexto casa abrigo?”

Este projeto teve lugar numa casa abrigo do norte de Portugal em que estiveram envolvidas 12 mulheres/mães e 18 crianças/jovens e que evidenciaram a intenção de participar no projeto. O processo criativo iniciou-se em fevereiro e terminou em abril de 2018.

Relativamente à metodologia associada a este projeto foi escolhida a Investigação Ação Participativa, sendo que as informações recolhidas se processaram através dos instrumentos aplicados, nomeadamente o questionário (inicial), a entrevista (aos técnicos) e os diários de bordo individuais (de todos os participantes e da investigadora). Assim foi possível obter dados relevantes que foram analisados no decorrer de todo o processo.

Durante o processo foi criado um ambiente de participação, envolvimento e cooperação, tendo os participantes estabelecido uma relação de proximidade com a investigadora, exteriorizando sentimentos e emoções.

Os resultados apresentados evidenciaram o papel fundamental que a linguagem artística tem na vida de uma criança e de uma mulher/mãe como forte indutor da expressão de sentimentos e emoções, permitindo olhar para si próprio e, ao mesmo tempo, colocar-se no lugar do outro, sendo potenciadora de uma criação e de fortalecimento de laços.

Esta é uma estratégia que propicia a construção de um ambiente de partilha de emoções, de construção e reconstrução de laços parentais, mas também de mais confiança e de uma melhoria de autoestima.

The artistic languages can have a great impact on an individual's life, taking on an intensification of personal, social, affective, emotional and relational skills.

In an institutional context, both women and children develop a severe past and an unstructured family with domestic violence, becoming apart of their families and residence area, being forced to adapt to a new and unknown home, becoming more difficult to develop some parental relationships.

The 'For a more artistic world, with more ties and less nots´ project was developed and implemented with an artistic intervention in order to get more information about 'What are the contributions of the artistic languages in the relationship between mothers and their children, in a shelter home?'. This project took place in a Portuguese shelter home, located in north of Portugal, where were involved 12 women/mothers and 18 children/teenagers; all of them agreed to participate in this project. The creative process started in February and finished in April of 2018.

The Action Participatory Research took part of the methodology developed in this project and all the information was collected with applied tools, such as a questionnaire (initial), an interview (to the technical part), and individual boarding diaries (from all the participants and researcher). It was possible to get important and relevant data that was analyzed during all the investigation process.

During all the process it was created a participative and cooperation environment, where all the participants developed a close relation with the researcher, sharing with her lots of feelings and emotions.

The results concluded that artistic languages have a strong power in a children and women/mother’s lives, strengthening their relationship and developing the ability of looking for themselves and at the same time developing and increasing their relationships.

This is a strategy that can create an emotion shared environment and rebuild parenting bonds with high levels of confidence, increasing their self-esteem.
