Holmgren's Seahawks finally flying high
Seattle rebounds after slow start

Seattle -- Ever the optimist, Mike Holmgren hasn't given up.
If the Seattle Seahawks can play as well in their final five games as they did in Jacksonville, he believes they have a chance to get into the playoffs.
"If we win all five, we're 9 and 7," Holmgren said. "Would that get us in? I don't know."
After his team's bye week, he'll find out more against Denver (two games), Oakland, Atlanta and Buffalo.
And if the Seahawks rally to make the playoffs after a 2-7 start, it would be exactly the opposite of last season. After an 8-2 start, Holmgren's first Seattle team finished 1-5 -- but still won the AFC West -- before losing to Miami in the franchise's first playoff game since 1988.
The Seahawks (4-7) overcame a 21-7 deficit against the Jaguars last Sunday, getting three touchdown passes from Jon Kitna for a 28- 21 victory. The previous week, they ended a five-game losing streak with a home victory...
