Significados de la sexualidad en jóvenes aspirantes a la vida religiosa

Abstract

La presente investigación pretende explorar los significados de la sexualidad en jóvenes aspirantes a la vida religiosa, para lo cual se utilizó una metodología cualitativa. El número de participantes fue de 30 jóvenes (29 mujeres y 1 hombre) cuyas edades fluctuaron entre los 18 y 24 años. Se realizó un taller de sensibilización al tema de la sexualidad, dibujos y cuentos en relación al mismo tema y entrevistas individuales. Los resultados encontrados acerca de los significados de la sexualidad giran en torno a la negación del cuerpo y el placer, la irrupción de lo impulsivo, el terror a la sexualidad y el silencio de la misma. Esto estaría relacionado a la ausencia de figuras parentales cuidadoras, la educación religiosa brindada y, por último, a la idealización y espiritualización de la vida consagrada.
