Abstract

Through their lifetime, organizations cross different stages, which have certain characteristics that influence and are influenced by organizational culture. Edgar Schein has designed a model to reflect the specific changing rules depending on the regarded stage cycle. The mechanisms to change the organizational culture are in correlation with the organization stages of life. The paper analyses main details details of this very well known model by management theoreticians and practitioners and evaluate the oportunity of its use. [PUBLICATION ABSTRACT]
