It didn't take long for the other shoe to drop in Weyerhaeuser's acquisition of MacMillan Bloedel. In late November, Weyerhaeuser stated its intentions to purchase TJ International and, in the process, assume full control of engineered wood maker Trus Joist MacMillan.
