Online swindlers beware. Steve Mink, a victim of false advertising on eBay, is out to get you. After winning an eBay auction for new speakers and receiving a product he says "looked like [it] had been gnawed on by a wild animal," Klink, a Paramus police officer, fought back. He created a watchdog Website, www.ebayersthatsuck.com, to post the names of sellers and buyers that have victimized others. With the help of his brother, Edward Klink, penned a book called "Dawn of the eBay Deadbeats." It details stories of other victims, like the collector who was scammed out of a $16,000 "Spiderman" comic and a trucker who lost $27,000 buying a nonexistent rig. The book, which is available at Klink's Website, as well as on eBay and Amazon, also offers tips to avoid being scammed.
