A Spanish-language feed of ESPN's Sunday-night Maior League Baseball and National Football League telecasts has been made available free of charge to operators as part of a yearlong initiative.
The "ESPN Deportes" programming block will offer operators four to six hours of Spanish-language sports programming each Sunday on an & la carte basis, starting April 1, said ESPN Western division vice president of affiliate sales and marketing Steve Raymond. Operators can run the service for free on a separate channel.
