Between the Main Street business brokerage and the investment banking firm is Boise company The Business Source, a "mid-market" specialist which is expanding its reach by opening a Seattle-area office.
The Business Source is a business brokerage and consulting company specializing in the sale and acquisition of closely-held businesses.
Company President Bruce M. Perry, an attorney and certified public accountant, said he will continue to be based at Boise but will work twice a week at Seattle temporarily. He will recruit a business transaction veteran with a legal and/or public accounting background to represent The Business Source full-time at the new Bellevue, Wash., office.
Long-term, the goal of the five-year-old company is to establish offices in other cities. If the Seattle-area office performs well, another location may be added within a year. Perry said Portland and Salt Lake City are likely candidates.
