The New Mexico Rattler roller coaster was 95% finished when Custom Coasters International shuttered its doors, leaving Cliff's Amusement Park in Albuquerque, N.M., scrambling to finish the job on its own.
"Taking it over basically we had to put a lot of her [Custom Coasters owner Denise Dinn Larrick' sl people on our payroll and take up the slack on some orders that were never placed," said park owner Gary Hays. Construction on the steel coaster with a wood track began in spring.
