The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of a course on Interpersonal relations and communication using group activities on the self-efficacy of nursing students. The participants in this study were first-year students in the nursing department of К University located in В Metropolitan City. The study used a one-group pretest-posttest design. The course was held for 13 weeks from September through December of 2016. The final 42 responses were used for analysis. The pre-postsurvey difference was tested with paired t-test using SPSS. The results of the study showed that the average score of self-efficacy increased from 3.13 to 3.28 after the experiment (t = 2.094, p<.05). The results of this study confirmed that a course on Interpersonal and communication using group activities is effective at improving self-efficacy of students

1.Introduction
Interpersonal relations are the complex aspects of dynamic and continuous interactions among people. Interpersonal relation is possible through communication. If a person thinks of himself as a competent person, he tends to act with confidence and dignity, and a person who believes himself to be a weak and disadvantaged person shows a passive interpersonal relationship. The higher the communication ability, the higher self-efficacy tends to be [1, 2]. Self-efficacy is a personal belief that one can do something well and Bandura's social learning theory states that, the higher the self-efficacy, the higher the work outcome [3]. One of the key elements of nursing is building trust and a close relationship between the patient and nurses [4]. To build such a close relationship, it is necessary not only to have effective communication ability but also to positively recognize one-self.
Due to recent changes in the medical environment, interpersonal relationship ability and communication skills of nurses are consistently emphasized for the improvement of medical services. Effective communication skills in clinical practice are important factors that influence satisfaction with nursing services or job satisfaction [5]. Reference [6] stated that the Interpersonal relationship ability of nursing students was related to clinical practice and interpersonal satisfaction. And communication self-efficacy increased when nurses had communication training [5]. In addition, when the self-efficacy was higher, nursing nursing performance was found to be higher [7].
