Seeing Paul Hejmanowski sit at his desk at his Lionel Sawyer & Collins law office, one might never suspect the firm's managing partner is a sailor at heart. Hejmanowski, a 37-year veteran of the firm's Las Vegas office, usually takes a break from case files and management duties by sailing Lake Mead on his Second Snapper.
The Brooklyn, NY-born Hejmanowski, who has lived in Houston, Los Angeles and Chicago, got into sailing inadvertently after inheriting his father's old boat years ago. Today, he has a Merchant Marine's license and is certified to captain a 100-ton boat.
The lawyer has sailed as much as 1,500 miles during a trip, but has no plans...
