Rice University seeks an outstanding leader with exceptional strategic, analytical, communication, and operational capabilities for the position of Associate Vice Provost/Associate Vice President for Institutional Research and Analysis (AVP). Reporting jointly to the Provost and to the Vice President for Finance and serving as a key member of the leadership teams for both, the AVP is responsible for providing high-level, analytically-based advice to inform Rice's most important decisions. The AVP will develop and lead a collaborative team of high quality analytical staff to support the IR office and will foster a culture of strategic and data-informed decision-making. In addition, the AVP will play an integral role in the development and use of a comprehensive and integrated data warehouse, which is a priority in the coming year.
