Abstract.
Xinjiang is the one of the largest provinces of China. Since 1949, the communist government of China had migrated millions of Hans from inner parts to Xinjiang for political and economic reasons. The migration of Hans led to demographic changes of the province as the percentage of Hans in the population reached 42% from 6% in 1949. This Han migration also had its impact on the society and economy of the Xinjiang as most of the native's blame Hans are taking away jobs and resources from the Xinjiang as government prefer Hans then the natives in these jobs. The paper will highlight the socio economic impact of these migrations on Xinjiang and the response of Uyghurs.
Rezumat.
Xinjiang este una dintre cele mai mari provincii din China. Din 1949, guvernarea comunista din China a facut sa migreze milioane de chinezi din etnia han la Xinjiang, din motive politice si economice. Migratia populatiei han a dus la schimbari demografice ale provinciei, procentul chinezilor han de aici crescând la 42%, de la 6% în 1949. Aceasta migratie a populatiei han a avut, de asemenea, un mare impact asupra sodetätii si economiei din Xinjiang. Cea mai mare parte a localnicilor din Xianjiang îi blameaza pe chinezii han, acuzând ca acestia le iau locurile de munca si resursele provinciei, ca guvernul îi prefera în detrimentul celor nascuti aici.
Lucrarea de fata va evidentia impactul socio-economic al acestor migratii în Xinjiang si raspunsul dat de uiguri.

Background
Xinjiang became volatile from 1990 and most of the scholars argue that it was because of the influence of the religious revival but some others have argued that it is because of the economic grievances that were created by the Chinese mle. One of the most important grievances of the Uyghurs living in Xinjiang shared with me during the field survey was the migration of the Hans from the inner parts of China. The history of the migration of Hans goes back to Qing's period when most of the Han criminals, living in the main land,1 were forced to migrate2 and settle down in Xinjiang on subsidies and loans3 to carry out their activities as farmers.
