Abstract

This paper comes up with possible solutions to tackle the emerging global concern called honour killing. It has been rampant in many less developed countries and has become increasingly visible in the neo-clash of the modernity with the traditionalists. The post-modern human rights approach which does not shy away from treading into the hitherto untouched cultural and traditional arena of 'family' has brought this topic to the concern of the international agencies. The authors have analysed the problem in depth across cultural barriers and have proposed solutions to mitigate this evil. [PUBLICATION ABSTRACT]
