1. Introduction
Since John the Evangelist's book became* a social phenomenon that swept the extent of Earth's population and many of the interpretations of this prophecy are false and dangerous, we consider appropriate to address this issue.
The study of prophecy is an instrument of prospecting the future helping us to think of a strategy of preventing war as well as human security risks.
"The whole "contemporary culture" oriented only towards the earthly and continuous agitation of life, which is closely related to the "culture" keeps man in a permanent state of emptiness and confusion that did not offer the slightest chance of introspection and, thus, his spiritual life goes gradually down1" becoming a victim of manipulation and misinterpretation of prophecies regarding the end of times.
Father Seraphim Rose said: "It seems that we live really last centuries of the world, the prophecies of Apocalypse about its end start to perform. Undoubtedly, is the right time - especially in terms of multiplicity widespread misapprehension about this book in contemporary thinking - for a complete Orthodox review of its."
